This is the temple of Santa Prisca, it is located in the town of Taxco in the north of the state of Guerrero. This church was built in a period between 1751 y 1758. The architects of thisbuildings were the French Diego Durán and the Spanish Cayetano Singüenza. In the front it has the characteristic “twin towers” that is one of the most important characteristics of “novohispana”architecture.Inside of the church there are walls built with gold and full of catholic images.In the front façade of the church there are lots of symbols and the principal topics are Sta,Prisca, Snt. Sebastián, the evangelists, the shells ( represent the baptism of Jesus ), the laurel leaves ( represent the victory of the faith ) and the grapes ( represent the blood of Jesus )

The elements of this building that I will choose to put them in another building would be the twin towers, I think they are the principal characteristics in almost all of the colonialchurches not just in Mexico.

For example: that twin towers as I said, are one of the most important characteristics of the “old” big churches and cathedrals in all the world so I wouldtake that element to apply it to another churches or big buildings like a museum because maybe if you apply it on a house for example it would look weird.
This house looks more like a museum.The elements of this building that I will choose to put them in another building would be the twin towers, I think they are the principal characteristics in almost all of the colonialchurches not just in Mexico. The giant dome over the church would be another element I would take from that building. It is such an amazing thing that it could be in almost every building in abigger or in a lower scale.

For example: the domes can be used in lots of buildings.
