1. What is socialism?

Socialism is a method of government that involves all of its citizens having all of the same benefits andprivileges, regardless of their race and job. This means that the recourses of the country or government are owned in common by its entire population.2. How did World War I help Lenin?

In World War I, most of the Russians realized how bad its government was, and started to rebel against it. Thishelped Lenin immensely, seeing as how his new way of government seemed revolutionary. The civilians were eager to try a new form of government, and sincethey did not know one, they went with Lenin’s plan.

3. What/who are the soviets?

The Soviets are defined as a revolutionary council of workers orpeasants in Russia before 1917l. They were the people that were elected to council in the former USSR.

4. What are your impressions of Lenin?

Ifeel that Lenin is a person that had very high goals, and even though he achieved them, I really don’t think that it was worth all the people he hadkilled. I think that he has been praised way too much, and that he should be known as who he is, a person that has killed many people, even though his goalswere with good intentions.

5. Does Lenin have a positive or negative legacy? Why?

I think he has a very mixed legacy, leaving his successors withgood possessions and talents, although he has received a very negative popularity since he has just been revealed as the killer and liar that he was.
