Presente Y Pasado Progresivo En Ingles
Los tiempos progresivos o continuos se forman en presencia del verbo To BE (como auxiliar o enlace) y la forma -ING del verbo significativo; es decir, la forma -INGdel verbo significativo va inmediatamente después del verbo To BE, en la estructura (oración) lógica afirmativa. Estos tiempos gramaticales indican que la(s) acción(es) están inconclusas (en el pasadoprogresivo) y que todavía están sucediendo (en el presente progresivo).
Pasado progresivo:
RUN (ran): correr; RUNNING: corriendo.
*He was running in the park when it began to rain.

*Él estaba corriendo en el parque cuando empezó a llover.
WATCH (wuótch): mirar, ver, observar; WATCHING: observando, viendo...
*They were watchingT.V. when the electric energy failed.
(déi wuér wuótching ti vi juén di eléktrik éneryi féilt)
*(Ellos) estaban viendo televisión cuando falló la energía eléctrica.
HAVE LUNCH (jav lonch):almorzar; HAVING LUNCH: almorzando.
*I was having lunch when you called.
(ái wuós jáving lonch juén yiú kolt)
*(Yo) estaba almorzando cuando (tú) llamaste.
Presente progresivo:
SWIM(suím): nadar; SWIMMING: nadando.
*They are swimming in the swimming pool.
(déi ar suíming in de suíming pul)
*(Ellos, ellas) están nadando en la piscina.
STUDY (sstádi): estudiar; STUDYING:estudiando.
*We are studying very hard.
(wuí ar sstádiing véri jard)
*(Nos.) estamos estudiando arduamente.
FUTURO PRÓXIMO (be going to: ir a)
*I am going to travel tomorrow morning.
(áiam góin tu trávol tumárou móning)
*Voy a viajar mañana por la mañana.
*They are going to the cinema next weekend.

*(Ellos, ellas) van a ir a (al)cine el próximo fin de semana.
