Question 1. Synthesis
First, we can see that Adecco surpasses MichaelPage in revenue 20 times, its more wealthy. Adecco has alsomore employeers than Michaelpage.
Adecco, as it is bigger, it covers more areas of employement offered; a point we can emphasize is that in propotion, Adecco has more temporally employees thanMichaelpage.
Both are recruitment companies, but Adecco was a merger between two companies and has acquired many firms (it tried to acquire Michaelpage too).
Question 2. Actually they cover almost samerecruitment caractheristics, so we mix them:
To make a good selection must be followed several steps:
1) Determine the exact profile of the ideal person to fill the vacancy or the new job. For thiswe can draw up a company s profile: a chart detailing all of the personal qualities that you must have the person nominated.
2) Recruit candidates. It can be done through a selection internal orexternal as we see in class.
3) Make the selection process for the person. I mean it is known to the person concerned: they studie the curriculum, they carry out a personal interview and, if it isnecessary, a test of ability, personality, etc.
In addition , some examples of skills that are valued in a candidate for a job are the following:
Enthusiasm
Ability to adapt to the company'sphilosophy.
Empathy
Learning capacity
Working in groups or teams
The initiative, the capacity of decision, the leadership, the capacity of trade.
Creative
Experience
Flexibility
4)Choose a person who has shown most suitability for the post of work that offers.
5) Perform the definitive recruitment of the person if, during the trial period has responded to the expectationsenvisaged.
6) All points above are done for every type of job such as temporally-fulltime, executive-professional, etc.
