Private property has been protected by the society since the beginning of time. Private transport has been regulated by thegovernment due to, the long quantity of traffic. Some people believe that this regulation affects directly to their rights as citizens. , there are some peoplewho think that the regulation to private transportation will improve the quality of life for all the citizens.
People who think that the regulationis wrong, argue that the cars are part of the private property due to, you buy a car and the state does not help you to finance it what is more, youmust pay taxes just for have one. Furthermore, it increase the cost of having a car, people prefer to buy another car because it is cheaper andcomfortable, and on that way avoid the regulation, however this increase the contamination because most of the time the new cars people buy, are old and shouldbe scrap-metal.
On the other hand, there are people who believe that the regulation is good for the transportation and move in the city, because isprobably it will reduces traffic and not all the people can afford a new car, and if they can not travel by car, they would started to use publictransportation, that is environmental friendly and is cheaper.
In conclusion, I think that a good regulation can contribute to a better way of transportationin the city, although citizens are not preparing for those changes. People from Bogota prefer the comfort instead of good for the rest of the people.
