Weekly

* Weightometer
* Check weigh frame for material build up, remove as required
* Inspect tacho – rotates freely, in contact with belt

* Switch rooms
* Clean* Check air-con and clean filters
* Check and repair lighting as required
* Clean vent fan filters
* Visually inspect all equipment and terminations for signs of hot connectionor other problems

* Metal detector
* With the belt running place a small piece of metal on the belt (just small enough to go thru the crusher safely) and confirm it is detected, checkfor correct operation of by-pass chute, repeat test

Monthly

* Grease motors
*

* Agitator and thickener sirens
* Check for correct operation, siren and flashing lightshould be on if agitator stops for any reason

* Mill
* Motor slip rings and brushes as per pm
* Check liquid resistance starter water level, add as required, visually inspect starterinternally and externally, remove any build up around starter
* Inspect all high voltage cables for visible signs of damage and cable routes for material build

* Transformers
*Check oil levels
* Check for leaks
* Visually inspect external connections
* Check fence and gate
* Check all earth connections earthing
* 6/12 monthly - removecovers and inspect terminations (to be done on shut down)
* 6/12 monthly – have oil sampled

* Area lighting -
* Check all area lighting and repair as necessary

* Instruments* Check all instruments by area
* Check for alarms
* Calibrate as required
* Inspect for ingress of water and process fluids
* Confirm reading on DeltaV

*Conveyers
* Check operation and confirm at DeltaV for
* Belt drift switches
* Belt rip switches
* Start up siren
* Blocked chute switch (where installed)...
