Joseph Vicent “Joe” Flacco.

Born January 16, 1985, is an American footballstarting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League(NFL). Heplayed college football for the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Delaware. He was the 18th overall pick by the Ravens in the first round of the2008 NFL Draft.
In his rookie year, he threw for2,971 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions while starting all 16 regular season games, and became only the eighth rookie quarterback in NFL history to start a playoff game. By leading the Ravens totwo road wins in the NFL Playoffs (2008-2009), he became the first rookie quarterback in league history to win two playoff games. In his second season, he improved to 3,613 yards, 21 touchdowns, and12 interceptions, and set single season franchise records for completion percentage (63.1) and quarterback rating (88.9).
In 2013, ESPN Analyst Ron Jaworski stated that Flacco has the strongest armin the NFL. He led the Ravens in a 34-31 win in Super Bowl XLVII, and was named the game's MVP.
On January 6, 2013, in the Wild Card Playoffs round against the Indianapolis Colts, Flacco finishedthe game 12/23 for 282 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-9 win at home. On January 12, 2013, Flacco played one of the best games in his career, throwing for 331 yards and 3 touchdowns, in theDivisional Playoff round against the Denver Broncos. In the 4th quarter, the Ravens were down 35-28 and had one last chance to tie the game. After an incomplete pass and a 7-yard scramble, on 3rd down and 3,Flacco tossed a 70-yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Jones, sending the game into overtime.
