Prometeo.
In 2089, archaeologist Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and her boyfriend Charlie Holloway (Logan Marshall-Green) discovers what appears part of a star map with an invitation ofthat at some point visited the earth and created man, who they called; engineers.
Peter Weyland financed the trip to what they think is the origin of the message, the planet LV-223 (In the 1979 filmwas LV-426), hoping to encounter the life of this world and initiate the contact and discover the origin of life.
David (Michael Fassbender) is an android built by Weyland to help the mission thattakes four years to reach its destination in 2093, being in charge of monitoring the ship. We see him looking at the memories of Elizabeth and her father.
The ship arrives on the planet LV-223,Charlie Holloway discovers what appears to be a strange construction he believes is smart home, which is confirmed in the arrededores landing.
The head of the mission inflexible, Meredith Vickers (CharlizeTheron), commanded to bring the samples without touching or disturbing anything, because she informs them that there is a free business and there is a price for exploration.
Vickers, and CaptainJanek (Idris Elba) direct exploration of the ship from the Prometheus, while David, Elizabeth, Charlie and the rest of the team venture to build, where they find what appear to be recordings of theevents leading to the crew engineers to perish.
They found some containers which David takes one, are forced to flee when a storm approaches. Upon returning to the ship almost die. David takes thecontents of packages taking a small sample that gives Charlie drink without him noticing, who then has sex with Elizabeth.
They realize that engineers are actually very similar to humans, this plant is nottheir world, but came with another unknown purpose, Fifield (Sean Harris) and Milburn (Rafe Spall) to get caught unfortunately. Both are attacked by some sort of snakelike life that will forever...
