The children stayed, but the old woman turns out to be a witch, she took Hansel and put him into a cage and forced him to eat to fattens him, while Gretel has to do all the housework. The witch asked the boy to show part of his body to know if his is fat; the boy used to show her a chicken bone instead of his finger, and the witch decides to wait until the boy is really fat. Then she asked the girl to prepare the oven, but the girl pretended not to know her brother was inside, when the witch looked inside the oven to teach the girl how to do it, the girl pushed her in and burned the witch.
