QUEVEDO - 2012I. INTRODUCTION

Basketball or basketball is a team sport which basically consists of introducing the ball on a ring, from which hangs a network, which gives an aspect of basket. In some regions is called basketball, hispanicize the English term for the word basket. Basketball is a team game. Moreover, we would say that it is a game where collective action is the fundamental asset have tomanage teams to achieve the proposed objectives. However, shaping this collective technique needed players who make up our team meet the elements that enable the construction of this group that should shoot corporately as a unit. Based on: individual technique, fitness, game rules, tactics and mental or psychological preparation.

The main most followed competitions around the world, at theinternational level of selections are the Mundobasket, Eurobasket and the Olympics, and international competitions for clubs, the Euroleague. National leagues, the most prominent are the Spanish (League and copa del rey) and American (NBA and all-stars).

The present research was performed in order to learn about the history, objectives of the game, features the grip, boards and balloon. It is importantto know what the rules of the game, the techniques and tactics of Defense and attack are used in the course of the game.

XV. FRAME WORK


3.1 History.

Basketball was born as a response to the need for any sporting activity during the winter at the YMCA in Massachusetts school. The Professor of the University of Illinois (Massachusetts) James Naismith, (a Professor ofphysical education) was commissioned the mission, in 1891, to devise a sport that could play indoors, because the winters in the area hindered the realization of any activity outdoors.

Naismith analyzed the sports practiced at the time, whose dominant characteristic was the force or physical contact, and thought something sufficiently active, which required more dexterity than force and that didn'thave much physical contact. The Canadian recalled an old childhood game called "duck on a rock" (the duck on a rock), which consisted in trying to reach an object placed on a rock throwing a stone. Naismith asked /responsible for school boxes of 50 cm. in length but the only thing that got him were a few baskets of peaches, which hang on the railing of the upper gallery surrounding the gym at acertain height.

3.2. Main rules.

✓ The ball may be thrown in any direction with one or both hands.

✓ The balloon can be beaten in any direction with one or both hands, but never with the fist.

✓ A player may not run with the ball. The player must launch it from the place where takes it.

✓ The balloon must be secured with or between your hands. The arms or body cannot beused to secure the.

✓ Not allowed upload with the shoulder, grab, push, hit or zancadillear an opponent. The first violation of this standard by anyone will count as a failure, the second will disqualify him until a basket, or, if there is evidently intended to cause injury, during the rest of the game. The replacement of the offender will not be allowed.
