Proyecto volcan

OBJETIVE
In the project you will study the parts of a volcano and how volcanic eruptions affect their surrounding landscape.
INSTRUCTIONS
The project consists of three sections
1. MAKE A MODELOF A VOLCANO
Make the model of the volcano using plasticine. Put your volcano on top of a flat surface making sure to put a full newspaper page under it. The model must be cut through the middlesection like in the following picture. You can put a transparent acrylic sheet in order to close it or use a test tube for the vent.

Additionaly your model must:

a) Show the names of the importantparts on the acrylic
You can use markers or paste pieces of paper.
b) Have arrows to show the movement of lava.
2) NOW YOU CAN MAKE YOUR VOLCANO ERUPT

fILL the crater with BICARBONATE OF SODA andred food colouring. Pour a few drops of vinegar into the crater:

(2 marks) Then take a picture of the volcanic eruption, print it and paste it on the back of this page. Make sure it incluides theparts and that it shows the impact of the eruption.

Hacer que el modelo del volcán utilizandoplastilina. Ponga su volcán en la parte superior de una superficie plana , asegurándose de poner una página de periódico completo debajo de ella.
