As the title fades, the CAMERA PULLS OUT TO REVEAL the red is blood soaking through a sheet. PULL BACK FURTHER -EXT. GARAGE - DAY (NEWS FOOTAGE) The blood-soaked sheet half-covers a young child, who lies dead on the floor, a bloody hammer on the ground nearby. NEWSREPORTER (O.S.) Eight-year-old, Rowan Martin, the seventh child in as many months to be found bludgeoned to death with a hammer. Police have no suspects... INT.
