* 3. INTRODUCTION The Beatles were a British band of the 1960s, this group revolutionised the music of rock and pop. His compositions were the most important in this style. This group was composed offour young people from Liverpool: John Lennon to play guitar and vocals, Ringo Starr was playing drums and vocals, Paul McCartney who was the bassist and vocals and the George Harrison was play leadguitar.
* 4. HISTORY The Beatles were created in 1950 by Lennon, then with Paul McCartney, and a month later, George Harrison. The battery wasn’t good enough, so he was replaced by Ringo Starr.In Liverpool were many groups of rock and roll, but the Beatles were the best at that time. The songs of Beatles, were inspired by stars like Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry... But their career only juststarting, Beatles started to go to play in clubs. But finally they recorded their first disc called Please Please Me . Until in 1963 the Beatles were known all over the world, and in 1964 made theirfirst tour in United States. In 1969 they returned to the studio for what would be their last recording, Abbey Road, which for most of his fans was the best work.
* 5. BREAK-UP The year 1971 groupwas separated. After that, they continued their solo careers, some more successful than others, for example: John Lennon was murdered in 1980. Between 1994 and 1995 the three members left the group,finished the work that Lennon had left half.
