Hello and welcome to the May 2011 eNews from onOne! Thank you very much for being part of the onOne community and subscribingto our newsletter. I was recently going through some images of mine from earlier this year and came across this photo of mydaughter that I shot here in Portland, OR. It was taken at a park here in Portland called Tanner Springs Park back in January and assoon as I saw it again, I thought of a couple of effects in PhotoTools that I had to try on it.

I've outlined, withscreenshots, each of the steps I used to take the photo from the original to the final stylized image using PhotoTools 2.6 ProfessionalEdition on our blog. But one of the things I wanted to share with you is that the key, in my opinion, to a successful edit toyour photos or images is to make sure you do not use all of the effects at 100 percent. Rather, be sure to use the PhotoTools 2.6Fade slider to adjust the strength of each individual effect to make it just right.

I'd love to hear from you if this inspiresyou to go back and look at some earlier images and edit them with PhotoTools 2.6. You can leave a comment on our blog if itdoes!

If you don't already own PhotoTools 2.6, you can download a trial version and learn more on the PhotoTools 2.6 product page
