Slash creció junto a su madre, que era diseñadora de ropa, y de esa manera fue como conoció a David Bowie a finales de los 60's. En 1977 él y su madre se trasladaron a Los Angeles. Durante esa época sus padres se separaron y él se fue a vivir con su abuela. Slash usaba drogas mucho antes de comenzar Guns N' Roses, cuando conoció a su, en aquel entonces, inseparable amigo Steven Adler.

El 10 deoctubre de 1992 contrajo matrimonio con Renee Suran, pero en 1997 se divorciaron y luego el 15 de octubre del 2000 se caso con Perla Ferrer y tuvieron dos hijos, el primero llamado London Hudson y el segundo Cash Anthony Hudson.

Tras abandonar Guns n Roses, por problemas con Axl Rose, Slash formó la banda solista "Slash's Snakepit" con la cual grabó dos discos "It's five o'clock somewhere" y"Ain't life grand" de los cuales se pueden destacar temas como "Beggars and Hangers On" y "Life's a Sweet Drug".

A lo largo de toda su carrera tocó con músicos como Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, Lenny Kravitz (amigo de su infancia), Jeff Beck, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Sebastian Bach, Zakk Wylde, Cypress Hill (con Matt Sorum y Duff McKagan), Elton John y muchos más.

Slashgrew up with his mother, who was clothing designer, and in this form he met David Bowie in the late 60’s. On 1977 he and his mother went to L.A. During that time his parents separated and he went to live with his Granma. Slash used drugs before start Guns N’ Roses, when he met his, at the time, inseparable friend Steven Adler.
On october 10, 1992 he married with Renee Suran, but on 1997 theydivorced and then on october 15, 2000 he married with Perla Ferrer and they had 2 children, the first is called Londos Hudson and the second Cash Anthony Hudson.
After leaving Guns N’ Roses, for troubles with Axl Rose, Slash made the solo band “Slash’s Snakepit” with whom he recorded two albums “It’s five o’clock somewhere” and “Ain’t life grand” which can highlight issues such as “Beggars andHangers On” and “Life’s a Sweet Drug”
Along all his career played with musicians like Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, Lenny Kravitz (childhood friend), Jeff Beck, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Sebastian Bach, Zakk Wylde, Cypress Hill (with Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan), Elton John and much more.
