Pulque is an traditional beverage, made from the juice of the maguey or agave plant.
El pulque es otra bebida tradicional ,hecha del jugo del maguey o agave.The pulque is a milky , slightly foamy and somewhat viscous beverage made by fermeting (not destilling) the fresh sap of certain types of maguey.
pulque es una bebida láctea, ligeramente espumosa yviscosa algo hecho por fermeting (no destilando) la savia fresca de determinados tipos de maguey.

Production of pulque, begins with aguamiel which has beenextracted from the core of distinctly different types of agave plants known as pulqueros. Once the pulquero has matured, after anywhere between 12 and 20 years of growth, the aguamiel is harvested andthen fermented; no baking, no crushing, and no distilling.
La producción de pulque, comienza con aguamiel que ha sido extraída de la base de tipos claramente diferentes de plantas de agave conocidocomo pulqueros. Una vez que el pulquero ha madurado, después de entre 12 y 20 años de crecimiento, el aguamiel se cosecha y fermentación a continuación, sin hornear, no de aplastamiento, y dedestilación .

During the pre-Hispanic epoch, the pulque was used in ceremonies principally by the priests, to be able to have a betterconception of the messages that the gods were sending, used principally in the region of the Mexican altiplane.
