What your employer must do
Your employer must train you so that you understand the information on an MSDS.  Your employer must have an MSDS for each hazardous chemical that you use.  Your employer must make sure that you can find an MSDS quickly if you need to look at it.  If you don’t have an MSDS for every hazardous chemical that you use, your employer must get one within one workday. Your employer can keep MSDSs in afile cabinet or a notebook, or can even store them electronically on a computer. However, your employer must make sure that you can find them quickly if you need to look at them.
