What is a collage, well a collage is a collection of pictures that can be used to express or say something, and they are pictured in paper or in a table. The collage can picture aperson, explaining an object, saying something; normally it is just used to express and determine a theme. The word collage means a collection of pasted images, is a technique that people said that is likean image of the future. It is a technique that consists in mixing in the same surface different materials. One of the objects that is often used in the collage are plane surfaces, for examplephotographs, wood, skin, newspaper, fur, paper, objects that we use in our daily life. There are several of artists that influenced the art of the collage one of the artists is Picasso, who actually is a veryknown in all the world by his art, he know this technique very well, actually the art of the collage was created by Picasso and Braque. There are different types of collage: abstract and figurativecollage, we can distinguish them because the abstract doesn’t give any pictorial meaning, and the figurative make use of the pictorial meaning, and images used in collages. This technique instead ofimitate the reality, the art of collage was about only pasting colorful pieces on paper in squares, augmenting the absolute color, the technique was very used by the futurists and Dadaists. It is veryeasy to make a collage anyone can make it, choose a surface, choose the material you would choose, like magazines, drawings by your own, and other stuff; then start to paste randomly the photos or youcan do It in a specific way, it matters in which type of collage you are using it and how do you want to do it, but you also need a orientation of the background and structure of the composition,that is what you will do during the procedure.
