Translation is change Native Language to target Language.

L1 isour Native Language or Mother Language.

3. What is L2?
L2 is the Target Language.

4. Do you learn your first language or do you acquire your first language?
We acquire our first languageand we learn Target Language.

5. Why is important Social Linguistic Language?
Social Linguistic is important because when you translate a text, you need to know and use thecorrect word. One object can have one or more name with the same meaning. If you use an incorrect word you change the real message.


6. Who didtranslate the Bible into Spanish and English?
Saint Jerome translated the Bible into Spanish and English.

7. Why Saint Jerome is considering the Father of Translation?
Saint Jerome is considering theFather of Translation because he translated the Old Testament into Latin form Hebrew rather than Greek. In addition to his translation work, he was the forerunner in Translation Theory.

8.What is Babel Tower?
The Tower of Babel forms the focus of a story told in the Book of Genesis of the Bible.   The story of the tower of Babel explains the origins of the multiplicity of languages.God was concerned that humans had too much freedom to do as they wished, so God brought into existence multiple languages. Thus, humans were divided into linguistic groups, unable to understand oneanother.
