Types Of Clean Energy

Biomass

Biomass is biological material derived from living,or recently living organisms. In the context of biomass for energy this is often used to mean plant based material, but biomass can equally apply to both animal and vegetable derived material.Aplications

Chemical energy stored in biomass can be converted to heat through combustion (burning). Biomass can be converted to liquid or gaseous fuels or can be used to generate electricity in thesame way that coal is used.

Wind Energy

Wind power is the conversion of wind energy into a useful form of energy, such as using: wind turbines to make electricity, windmills for mechanical power, windpumps for water pumping or drainage, or sails to propel ships.

Aplications
Wind turbines can convert the energy in the wind into mechanical power that can be usedfor a variety of activities like pumping water. Wind turbines can also use generators to convert wind energy into electricity.

Nuclear Energy

Nuclear energy originates fromthe splitting of uranium atoms in a process called fission. At the power plant, the fission process is used to generate heat for producing steam, which is used by a turbine to generate electricity.Aplications.

There have been great advances in using nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, such as medicinal use of isotopes, radiation techniques or production of electricity. Other uses are:Hydropower

is the power derived from the energy of falling water, which may be harnessed for useful purposes. Since ancient times, hydropower has been used forirrigation and the operation of various mechanical devices, such as watermills, sawmills, textile mills, dock cranes, and domestic lifts.

Aplications.
The uses of electricity are everywhere,...
