Introduction

This sizing questionnaire is designed to collect informationthat will allow hp to characterize the specific user and/or transaction load expected in order to implement a solid SAP system environment. Additionally, this questionnaire is designed to help hp determine any further technical requirements, such as heterogeneous setup or high availability. All input will be treated confidentially.
Please send your input to your hp Sales or hp partnerrepresentative. In case you do not know your local hp contact person, please do not hesitate to send your response via e-mail to sap.hp@hp.com .
If you are planning to implement other SAP Components like SAP SCM, CRM, SRM, SEM or SAP Netweaver Components like SAP BI, EP, please contact us and we will provide you with a component-specific questionnaire.
For some SAP Industry Solutions application specificdata quantities are mandatory for a sound workload calculation, especially for:
Banking Retail Telecom Utilities.
In these cases you do not need to work on data quantities in this questionnaire.

This Questionnaire contains three main sections:

Part 1: Technical Infrastructure requirements.
Please provide us with this information in any case.
If you have already an existing productive system landscape for this SAP implementation, please let us know the technical details, see page 4. This page tellsyou also, in which cases it is not necessary to complete Part 2 and 3 of this questionnaire.

Part 2: Number of Users, who work actively at the same time on the productive system.
Please provide us with this information always, when a new sizing or a delta sizing for the next implementation step is needed.

Part 3: Data Quantities (Document Volumes) of your Business Processes: please providethese data especially, when there are high transaction volumes in peak times and when you wish to have a quantity based disk size estimation.
