About McDonald’s:
McDonald’s is considered like the world’s largest chain of fast food restaurants. It has a variety menu, because it sells hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fried chickenand in some places, it sells breakfasts, salads and desserts. Actually, it serves more than 47 million customers a day in 114 countries around the world. McDonald’s specialty is the preparation of theworld famous “Big Mac”, this burger has been sold since 1968.
History:
McDonald’s begin its history in 1940, when the first restaurant was opened on May 15th in San Bernardino, California, verycloser to the famous “route 66”, by Richard and Maurice McDonald. In that time, McDonalds Brothers sold for 15 cents each burger. Fifteen year later, Ray Krac, who produced mixers for milk shakes,wanted to join this business, in the same year, he was accepted for them. The most important invented for McDonald’s, after Big Mac, was the famous “Mc Auto”, an especial place, where the people couldeat in their cars.
Actually, McDonald is considered like the fast food chain has branches in most parts of the world, because it has restaurant opened in 114 countries around the world, fromAmerica to Australia. Its establishments are into airports, shopping centres and train stations, even in the midst of fortified cities or small historic streets. In Latin American, the first McDonald’s wasopened in Costa Rica in 1970, then in El Salvador was opened in 1971 and in Managua, Nicaragua in 1975. After those, the firsts McDonald’s in Mexico, Venezuela and Argentina were opened in 1985 andin Chile on November 1990.
