At the age of 4 and 5 years living in Escazu, in a humble adobe house, the other part of his childhood lived in Linda Vista de Tibás,. In this course inelementary school site Anselmo Llorente La Fuente, where he received a diploma in 1963. At that time gave me a scholarship to Liceo in Tibás Mauro Fernández; Rechaso such assistance because we were very poorand large family of 12 children (7 female, 5 male) consisted, of which he was the oldest, so I decided to help his father in the fruit trade market Bourbon.
His father saw he had a knack for drawingsince I was eight years; and filling the notebooks school, decided to look where he could study drawing; at that time was not only the Chamber of artist or the School of Fine Arts, but this was onlyfor adults.
His father spoke with management, which allowed me to attend as a listener. Because of this, in 1963 and 1964 had the pleasure of meeting artists and teachers. as a draftsman and designer,it was my only study after leaving the escuela.En 1967 started working on the universal impression I have worked as a journalist.
Currently holds large paintings in watercolor and oil.

A la edad de 4 y 5 años que vivío en Escazú, en una humilde casa de adobe, la otra parte de mi infancia se vivió enLinda Vista de Tibás ,. En este curso de sitio en la escuela primaria Anselmo Llorente La Fuente, donde recibío un diploma en 1963. En ese momento me dio una beca para ir Liceo en Tibás Mauro Fernández;Rechaso esa asistencia debido a que estábamos muy pobre y numerosa familia de 12 niños (7 mujeres, 5 hombres) consistía, de los cuales era el mayor, así que decidio ayudar a su papá en el comercio defrutas en el mercado de Borbón.
Su padre vio que tenía un don para el dibujo desde que tenía ocho años; y llenando la escuela cuadernos, decidió buscar donde podía estudiar dibujo; en ese momento...
