Ratnasambhava

Ratnasambhava is a sculpture made of bronze. It is about one meter high and 50 cm width approximately. We can distinguish, in the sculpture, a man sitting in the “Siddahásana”posture. Siddahásana is the perfect position, which allows people meditate. Siddha means semi-divine that has supernatural powers, and àsana means posture. He is sitting straight with both feet folded, oneover other, both hands over his laps, but one of them, the little finger is touching the thumb. His eyes are closed, his head is a little downwards and he seems like his soul is out of his own body. He is dressing a coat with abelt around his waist. He is also wearing earrings, which is an important detail, which could help us to identify the man’s culture.
