This books genre is fiction. I know its fiction because the Author of this book is known for his historical fiction writing. Atfirst when you start reading it the author describes every single detail as if it truly had happened. It talks about U.S army and Germany as so as the royal British army. The book starts with a datefrom many years ago, it starts in 1945.

The first setting of the book is someplace around Europe. I know its somewhere around here because it says thatDaniel had lived on Flottbeker Chausse. There were no more streets, just a path through massive piles of rubble. There were some badly bombed houses too, and there were no traffic. It was in Hamburg.9-21-09

Daniel is the main character. Born on the 20’s somewhere in Germany. He was rich when he was young; his father was a highly regarded lawyer. Daniel was in theU.S Army unit, and transfer to the Royal British Army. Daniel was short and skinny.

Describe the main antagonist. Are the antagonist motives believable? Why or why not?
Armin is the mainantagonist right now. He has the same age Daniel had. Armin was just taller and sturdy. He’s motives are not believable. He only is making Daniel take a lot of risks, and putting him into trouble.9-23-09
Describe the main conflict in the story
Armin and Daniel went to paint in the Johannisstrasse. The Johannisstrasse was in the working class district, ruled by Reds, the Nazis called them “littleMoscow”. Daniel weren’t ok with Armin’s idea but he followed him and didn’t argue. There were some Red Front marchers just on the other side of the wall were Armin and Daniel were painting. Arminbroke his ankle when trying to jump down toward Daniel.
