Reciclaje
Today, our modern societies have developed different waysto treat such waste, so the application of recycling is good cause to be implemented.
In the case of used clothing that can not continue to be used as clothing, we have several possibledestinations depending on the materials that compose them.
Most recycling is cotton, whose fiber is industrialized to make fabrics soft, absorbent and permeable. cotton fabrics can be utilized as cleaningcloth in different industries, previously cleaned and disinfected, precisely because of their characteristic.
They are suitable for heavy industry, shipbuilding, paint and body shops, mechanics, polishes, printing, automotive, etc…,and for example the linen rags from hotels are ideal for cleaning windows and screens, to leave no lint.
Textile waste can also be used to produce new rawmaterials. this requires sorting by types of fibers (wool, polyester, cotton, silk , nylon, etc.)and then removing them and re-spun.
Thus the new yarn may be used in the garment industry for themanufacture of new parts.
Some recovered and recycled fibers can be used in the manufacture of upholstered furniture and mattresses, filers insulators, carpet backings, filters, etc…
Theactivity carried out by organizations and companies for recovery and recycling of textiles, provides advantages for using recycled products.
Among these benefits are:
.reduce pollution in general andenergy consumption.
.use less fossil fuel in its production.
.reduce the volume of solid waste in landfills.
.save virgin materials.
