Social NETS (Present Perfect and Past Progressive)
A social net is a social structure formed by groups of people. By years, it has connected for one or more types of relationship such as friendship,things in common, kinship and so on. Talk about social nets was something fantastic before, about 2004´s years. But to find the true origin of social networks must go much further back than 2004, ina project called Community Memory, realized in 1980. The social nets have been development for contact people all over the world, express free ideas, knowledge and personally comments. Nearly 2003,the first social network was Facebook created by Mark Zuckerberg, it was a collegial project, but with the years it has converted in the most popular social net. Then, in 2006 appeared other famoussocial net Twitter, created by Jack Dorsey. The social net has been developed with the years, now we can enjoy these pages from different applications such as cellphones, laptops, netbooks, tablets, andsmartphones.

I think that social nets are forms to communicate a little bit better than the messages by cellphone. Talking about social nets we have alot of examples: Facebook, Twitter, Friendster, Hi5, My Space, Windows Live Messenger, Sonic, Yahoo and so on. The most popular in this case, and in Ecuador is Facebook, followed by Twitter. Thedifferences between Facebook and Twitter are notorious. Facebook is much easier to use than Twitter, and is slightly better in things like photos, videos, publications. Twitter has many advantages thatFacebook doesn’t have. Twitter is a lot of safer than Facebook; the information is more personal than in Facebook. But users can modify the security in their counts. I think Twitter is as addictive asFacebook.
