The First Time I Went to Missions
I was with the father Julio and he invited me and my friends to missions at Cuatrocienegas. My friends and I told him yesbut at the last I was the only one going. First I was petrified I didn´t want to go but the trip was already paid. I went we were on the bus on our way there, watching a movie. We stopped at arestaurant and ate there, we finish and then we continued our trip. We arrived and they made groups, we did a rally unfortunately my team didn´t won. We slept at the church and when we got up we packedeverything to go to the village. I was very nervous at the beginning but when I arrived I wasn´t nervous anymore.
I and my team began to knock in the houses to promote the word of Jesus. We did that forabout two hours, I was very tired. Then we played with the kids from there and they told us things like what was his or her name favorite color what did they asked Santa for etc. At night we made acampfire and we talked until the campfire was extinguished. Then I went to sleep, I got up very early like 7 in the morning. I got up and had breakfast and then we went to the people’s houses to say thatwe were going to pray a rosary and at the end we will give them a package with food. I was with 2 more guys and we were with the boys from the village playing games and the rest and father Julio wereat the chapel praying. At night we went to the house of a woman and had dinner at 10 P.M. we went back to the chapel (where we were staying) and we made another campfire. We extinguished the campfireand went to bed.
I woke up and we packed everything to go back to Cuatrocienegas. I had everything prepared and we were waiting for the truck to come for us. I saw a white truck very far and I knewthat I was going back to the city. We got in the truck and went back we stopped and salute some soldiers and gave them packages of food and continued.
