The life of the founder of the Company, Homero Ortega, revolved around the production of straw hatscarf. Since childhood is linked to this activity, learning from his father Aurelio Garcia Ortega. Together they ventured into the path of "boxes" to reach the port of Guayaquil, where they sold theirhats "on board", the merchants who carried them to Panama.
In 1972, the Company is established as a limited company. Our success lies in its ability to adapt and design of the scarf and straw hatsublime form of popular expression.
