Back to the Future

The 80’s saw a lot of sci-fi Hollywood movies released each year, but none of these movies came close to being as great and magnificent as Back to the Future. The movie was directed by Robert Zemeckis and released in 1985. The film was followed by two sequels, Back to the Future II (1989), and Back to the Future III (1990), forming a trilogy.
Back To The Future was writtenby Bob Gale and Zemeckis, and starred Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. The king of sci-fi Hollywood movies, Steven Spielberg, produced it.
The film brought a whole new perspective to time travelling, through a time machine that can take you into the past or the future. People who lived in the 80’s were totally entranced by this new concept and thought it was one of the most brilliant sci-fimovie ever. Also, Back to the Future was critically acclaimed by critics and it grossed $210 million, making it the highest grossing film of 1985
Nowadays, most kids or adults who watch the movie feel that this film was ahead of its time and is still thought by many as a true science fiction gem. The movie is not only packed with a great storyline and excellent graphics but also the acting is topclass by all the stars. Even the dialogues and humor in the movie are unforgettable.

Synopsis
Back to the Future begins in 1985, with a teenager named Marty McFly. His family is dysfunctional, his school punctuality is questionable and the music he likes and plays is just too darn loud. His one true light is his girlfriend Jenny and his one true friend is the Doctor Emmett Brown. Brownbelieves he has discovered the secret of time travel, and one night in the deserted parking lot of the local shopping mall, Marty meets the mad scientist and discovers that his friend has built a time machine out of a DeLorean.
It works. and then, after a series of surprises, Marty finds himself transported back 30 years in time, to the days when the shopping mall was a farmer‘s field. Marty wandersinto town, still wearing his 1985 clothing, and the townsfolk look weirdly at him.
Now, he must find the Doc and convince him that he is from the future, in order for the Doc to send him back to the future, but this is the least of Marty's problem. After accidentally getting in the way of the important meeting between his teenage mother and father, Marty must get them back together before hechanges time forever, and destroys his own existence.

Marty McFly
Martin Seamus "Marty" McFly was born in 1968 in Hill Valley, California. He was the youngest of three children to George and Lorraine McFly. He had a brother Dave, sister Linda and girlfriend Jennifer Parker. His best friend was scientist Emmett Brown, whom Marty called "Doc". There is a slight impression that Marty wassomewhat embarrassed by his family and did not spend much time at home, preferring to hang out with Doc, Jennifer or the guys in his rock band, The Pinheads. Little is known about Marty's life prior to 1985, except for the fact that he set the living room rug on fire when he was eight years old.
Emmett Brown
Dr. Emmett Lathrop "Doc" Brown was the inventor of the DeLorean time machine. He wassupposedly born in 1920 in Hill Valley, California. Doc's role models were scientists, as evidenced by the portraits of Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Edison, and Albert Einstein found in his laboratory. Doc could be absent-minded at times, and was regarded by many of Hill Valley's townsfolk as strange or as a crazy mad scientist. The only known friends he had were his dog, Marty McFly, andMarty's girlfriend Jennifer Parker.
George McFly
George Douglas McFly was the father of Dave, Linda and Marty McFly, and the husband of Lorraine Baines McFly. He was of Irish-American ancestry and was born on April 1, 1938 in Hill Valley, California. George was an insecure kid who grew up to become a nerdy wimp who was unable to stand up for himself.
