Introducción
En esta edición de “Cool EnglishExpressions” aprenderás nuevas e interesantes formas para hablar acerca de ‘estar muy cansado’, que te harán sonar más natural y adicionaran variedad a tu inglés, así como también introducirán algunas frases yexpresiones coloquiales.

1. Worn out
I’ve been working long hours including some weekends recently and now I’m worn out. I need a vacation! Sara hasher final exams next week and feels worn out because of the amount of time she’s spent studying

2. Knackered(muy coloquial en inglés británico – literalmente significa ‘roto’)
We recently went on ahiking holiday in mountains and were knackered every evening, but the trip was fantastic! Summers in Spain are very hot and it’s difficult to sleep, so typical conversations are often about beingknackered

3. Exhausted
I feel so exhausted every night after work, I think I will look for another job!

The meetinglasted for 6 hours and the negotiations were very difficult, so when it was over everyone was exhausted and wanted to go straight home.

4. Done in(coloquial)
When we were in Mexico we took severalvery long bus journeys and always arrived at our destination feeling completely done in! I travel for 4 hours to and from work every day so don’t enjoy Friday evenings because I feel so done in afterthe week

5. To be dead on your feet(coloquial, significa “estar muerto a pie”)
When I worked in a restaurant, every day after work I was dead on my feet. Some doctors have to work 48 hours...
