Report Class

The class started punctual, teacher arrived on time and started the class asking for the homework. Students immediately started preparing a poster for a presentation. They were working with inforelated to an important person. Students took some minutes in order to prepare the presentation based on the information she asked for in the previous class. After preparing the presentation,students had to present their posters about the characters they chose. After that, teacher corrected the mistakes they made and at the same time she asked that they had to correct the mistakes of theclassmates’ posters using a magic marker. Immediately she asked them for to take out the book and did some exercises of the same. At the end of the class they had to share info about their favoritemovie or book.
Teacher Maribel did not use any extra material apart of the current book she is using in the class. Other material used during the class was the whiteboard.
During the developmentof the teacher’s class, no chairs were moved. The classroom was a normal one, but there were posters of the presentations in the walls of the classrooms. Teacher was checking the development of thestudents during the tasks students were asked to do for.
It is possible to mention that the teacher was talking in English during the whole time and during this lesson she let the students speakand participate in the same proportion. Students spoke English during the whole class too.
The class was not varied of activities. There was a presentation and a post activity related to the book.All students participate during the class because everybody had to present in front of the class. Although this lesson had not different activities, it had a balanced class respect to the fluencyand accuracy. Teacher praised her students every time they did the things well and corrected the mistakes by using the help of he students and of course it was at the end of the presentation.
