DESCRIPTION/APPLICATION:
The Thru-Tubing Inflatable Retrievable Bridge Plug (TTRBP) provides a means of
temporarily plugging off a well without the necessity of pulling the production tubingor killing the well. The bridge plug seals with a high expansion inflatable element
that can pass through the production jewelry and seal in the casing / liner below.
The bridge plug is set withhydraulic pressure, and can be deployed on coiled tubing and electric wireline (utilizing Baker Oil Tools’ Thru-Tubing Electric Wireline
Setting Tool, Product Family No. H43714). The inflatable elementcan be set in
most IDs including blank pipe, perforations, slotted liners, sand screens and open
hole. Applications include temporary shutoff of a lower zone, selective acid or
chemical treatments,temporary barrier for well head change outs, fracturing of upper perforation intervals, etc. The TTRBP is equalized and retrieved in one trip utilizing threaded pipe, coiled tubing, braided wirelineor slickline.
