The story is about a young woman named Holly who has just lost her husband Gerry. Two months have passed since he died. Holly didn’t talk with her family and friends. She just stayedat home and remembered all those moments with Gerry and cried. She couldn’t accept that he was gone, and her life was a completely mess, she didn’t care about anything anymore. She wasn’t eating soshe lost lot of her weight. Because Holly didn’t answer the calls, one day one of her best friends, Sharon, arrived to her house and started cleaning all the mess, she opened the windows and walkedthrough the kitchen and wash the dishes, picked up the clothes, clean the desks and the entire house. She also brought her food and all the basic needs. While she was cleaning all her stuff Sharon toldHolly to take a shower, Holly couldn’t even remember the last time she took a shower. She felt embarrassed because she knew she looked disgusting so she agreed taking a shower. When she came downstairsHolly and Sharon had dinner, they laughed, cried and talked for hours. Sharon helped her to feel alive again. Holly realized she was just thinking about herself, she completely forgot about Sharon andJohn, Sharon’s husband who was Gerry’s best friend, she was being selfish so she said to herself it was time to face things. Later, Holly’s mom called, she told her that there was a package for herleft in her house and it had been there for a while, she thought that picking up that envelope could be a good beginning so Holly went to her mother’s house and she found out that the package was fromGerry. It contained 10 letters that he wrote before he passed away, one letter for each month, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December. He probably knew hewould die soon. She felt so happy that she started crying, she immediately called Sharon and John.
