Strategic Planning and Human Resources.
The strategic planning procedures for making decisions about theorganization’s long-term goals and strategies.
Human Resources planning is one of the most important steps in the whole area, because with a procedure of steps, for a better way to manage the area.
Thesteps are the follows:
Step 1: Mission, Vision and Values.
The first of all is to know what each mean: the mission is the main purpose of the enterprise or organization for operations. The vision islike a statement about where the organization is going to be in the future, or what will be doing in the future. And the values are: principles that the organization uses for take decisions.
Thisstep is like the main point, because it will decide the main decisions of the organization.
Step 2: Environmental Analysis.
Is like an analysis that monitoring and control the external forces thathave influence in the organization.
With this analysis managers can know and anticipate the impact that external forces have in the organization. Also influence for strategic decisions and principles.This step has five main forces:
a.) Customers: an important assessment who can identify what customer needs.
b.) Rival Firms: besides the customer, we have to analyze the competition. Who isit? What is taking from us? Who are they?
c.) New Entrants: Also, new companies or new organizations can enter an industry to compete with us and the rest of the established organizations.d.) Substitutes: It is not direct competition, but is a great threat or opportunity, because for example, technology, evolves every day, so can be substituted.
e.) Suppliers: Sometimes theorganizations create things by their own, instead of that they have suppliers who can provide them with key inputs.
