legalize the recreational use of marijuana. All of thiscomes as the federal government continues to consider marijuana an illegal drug, and the Obama administration has supported police crackdowns evenon medical marijuana. Meanwhile, it has ignored studies that show the plant can be useful in treating everything from depression to canceroustumors. Has the USA got to a crusial point where a decision has to be taken and the effect of these could dangerous in many ways…
This type ofsituations should never be placed on votes to the people, I mean, if we really think of it, how many voters would this decision have, therewould be even more voter than a normal presidential election, because of the fact that most of the youth right now faces an addiction problem.They would quickly go vote in a positive way, but I’m sure that’s not what the government wants.
Because of this, we could face a situation inthe country we some people would start faking illnesses just to get to this. And we don’t even know the effect the drug makes to the pacients whoare taking it, I mean, in some short term we could see some positive reaction, but in a long term only God knows what the future holds.
