Title: Freedom Writers
Characters:
Erin Gruwell- was the principal character in themovie, this young woman has a huge heart. This girl has determination in all the meaning of the word because she easily can give up but she try and have a commitment not just with her father that shetold him that she can do it, but also with the student cause she wants to do a change and even went she doesn’t have the support of his husband and the principal and nobody believe in the student shestill moving on and that it can be possible if we want to.
Scott Casey – Is Erin Gruwell’s Husband. In the beginning he was compressive and supportive, but in the ending he go away and let heralone, cause he tough he was no more an important part of her live. He feel alone and he want the divorce.
Steve Gruwell- Is Erin Gruwell’s father. Different than Scott he was in the beginning hedoesn’t belie that her daughter as a simply teacher can do such a huge change, but in the ending he saw that it can be a possibility and he give her a hand to do many things.
Margaret Campbell- She is theprincipal in the Woodrow Wild School. She has 30 years in the education business. She was opponent of all that MRs. Gruwell said. She have no hope for the students and dint believe that it can make achange happened. She was totally rejecting all Gruwell’s ideas. She was also mad because Gruwell was young and new in the job. She was mad because she think that the students don’t wasn’t to be educatedand they don’t have to try to.
Eva Benitez- She has 15 years old, part of the freedom writers. She tell her story at the beginning in her story she said that she was present went the police took herfather to jail. So she joins in a gang. Eva was a rebel teenager. In the beginning she express in de classroom that she hate white people, but in the way that was happening the things she start...
