This book is a thriller. The story begin when Dr. Mortimer arrive to Mr. Sherlock Holmes apartment in London which is 221B Baker Street.He explained him a strange case about his neighbor’s death, who called Sir Charles Baskerville, and told him that all this was connected with an old legend about the Houndof the Baskervilles. He also said him he believes that some devil will occur the next successor of the Baskervilles lands (Sir Henry Baskerville) if he really comes toDartmoor. Holmes decided to try to solve the mystery, but first he said he must resolve another case nearly home and that he sends Dr. Watson to investigate all thesethings. When Henry arrived, he talks with Holmes, Watson and Mortimer and explained that somebody had stolen one of his new boots and later one of his normally shoes. AfterwardsHolmes and Watson saw also how somebody spies Henry and Mortimer from a taxi. The next what happened was that Dr. Watson sometimes wrote a letter to Mr. Holmes when hediscovered anything. The time advanced and Holmes learned a lot of important things for the case in Dartmoor. For example he learned that the Stapletons weren´t brother andsister otherwise they were husband and wife, or that Laura Lyons felt in love by Mr. Stapleton, or that Selden and the Barrymores were family… Finally he discovered thathis friend Holmes in reality was in Dartmoor and that he knew where the murder was, it was Mr.Stapleton and his great hound. Together they make a trap for Mr.Stapleton (howin reality was the son of Roger Baskerville) and solve all the other mysteries. Mr.Stapleton wanted to kill all the other Baskervilles for win all his lands and his money.
