RETORNO SEGURO

If you temporary imported your vehicle to Mexico and for whatever reason could not get the vehicle out within the allotted time, the vehicle is illegal in the country and could beconfiscated or sanctioned.
A returno seguro, or safe return permit, allows vehicles that are otherwise illegal in the country to be taken out of the country without impending legal consequences.The importer must file a statement that meets the requirements of Articles 18 and 18-A of the Fiscal Code, which prompted the safe return of the vehicle from aboard, indicating the brand, model andserial number of the same, the writing should be submitted in triplicate and annex the following documents:
Statement under oath by the vehicle owner that the vehicle is not subject to any criminal,civil or administrative proceeding in customs matters ( PAMA )
Vehicle Title
Immigration Form
Official Identification
Import permit or temporary admission documents
Foreigners must apply to theCentral Administration of Large Taxpayers in the City of Mexico, or to apply in the Local Administration Law, nearest to your location is Av. Francisco Villa #1292, Edificio Aralias P.B, ColoniaAralias, Puerto Vallarta Mexico. C.P. 48328.
The process is completed in approximately 2 to 8 hours.
