The London 2012 Olympic Games XXX will bring together the world's elite sport in 26 Olympic disciplines

London prepares the most important events of the decade in the sports field. This is XXX theLondon 2012 Olympic Games will bring together the world's elite sport, in the 26 disciplines approved by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

In July will begin these important games, afterfour years of waiting, they return with the best in the sport and the millions of spectators from all over the world will continue day to day responsibilities that will take place this summer.

The City of London was chosen in 2005 for these games between strong candidates as Moscow, New York, Madrid and Paris, this city will host for 15 days to more than 10,000 athletes from 171nations who will compete for the podium to be crowned the best in the world. In these Olympics will be held over 300 events in different disciplines from July 27, opening day at the Olympic Stadium inLondon, to close with the traditional marathon in its closure, on August 12.

ORGANIZATION

Following the completion of the Olympic Games, in this same venue will begin themost important games for people with physical limitations; it is the London 2012 Paralympics Games, which are organized every four years, parallel to the Olympics
