Introducción
El concepto “revolución sexual” se vincula hoy con un cambio amplio y radical que tuvo lugar en la segunda mitad del siglo XX y afectó principalmente al mundo occidental. Este cambio se caracterizó por la adopción de una nueva concepción de la moralidad sexual y el comportamiento sexual humano en general.
Al mismo tiempo, el concepto se vincula también con la liberación delas mujeres en el ámbito de las costumbres familiares tradicionales así como la progresiva igualdad que se ha ido alcanzando entre los dos sexos a partir de las décadas de 1960 y 1970
La revolución sexual vivió su máximo apogeo en los años sesenta, coincidiendo con el comienzo del movimiento hippie.
