Paseo Santa Lucia is a canal or artificial river and pedestrian pathwayis located in the first frame of the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon,northeastern Mexico. The play opened on September16, 2007 byPresident Felipe Calderon Hinojosa, the governor of Nuevo Leon JoseNatividad Gonzalez Paras and the mayor of the city of Monterrey,Adalberto Madero.
Pag 4The construction of this work began in 1996, but the government stopped the work  for over 9 years. It was not until 2005 that they began working again.
The project includes the regeneration of green areas, walkways and theconstruction of new commercial areas.

The main attraction is its River walk waterway with a depth of 1.20 m. There are small sailing boats with a capacity of 20 to 40 people which made atour with a guide.

starts its journey in Dr. Coss street, east of the Macroplaza, in the Plaza 400 years, where are located the GovernmentPalace Museum, the Museum of Mexican History and theMuseum of theNortheast. The route through the streets of downtown to the east, up toFelix Avenue U. Gómez, at which point the route continues on the groundsof the new "Foundry Park 2 ", on thegrounds of a former metallurgical company, continuing to the great lake of Foundry Park.
