• Mondays are very busy days for me. On a typical Monday, I wake up early, at around 7 o’clock, brush my teeth and go for a jog in the park. Then, I come back, take a shower, and have breakfast. I go to school onfoot. Classes start at nine and finish at three. I have lunch at the school cafeteria at around noon. At four in the afternoon, I have basketball practice. That lasts for two hours. I get home around 6:30, take a shower and eat dinner. I watch some TV for an hour and then I do my homework. I usually go to bed at eleven o’clock. (teenager)
• I don’t have much free time because of schooland work. When I‘m not at work or school though, I like to relax with a good book. I enjoy detective stories and spy novels. (female)

• I was amazed to learnthat if you remove water from a brain, it is 95% smaller. It’s shocking to know that only one gallon of gasoline can pollute 75,000 gallons of water. I was surprised to learn that a 10 minute shower uses almost 100 gallons of water.
• I knew that an ice cube floats on water.

• When the sun is out, it heats the water in the oceans. When the sun heats the water, there is vapor. When vapor rises into the air, it forms clouds. When the water droplets in the clouds get too heavy, it rains. When it rains, the water runs off the ground into rivers.
