El RNLI tiene una flota activa de más de 340 botes salvavidas, que van desde 3.8-17m de longitud, así como una flota de socorro. También hay cuatro activos y tres aerodeslizadores alivio.

The RNLI has an active fleet of over 340 lifeboats, ranging from 3.8–17m in length, as well as a relief fleet.There are also four active and three relief hovercraft.
Different classes of lifeboat are needed for various locations, depending on geographical features, the kind of rescue work that the station isasked to do and the cover provided by neighbouring stations. So RNLI lifeboats are divided into two categories.​
Volunteers are the heart of the RNLI.
All our volunteers show incredible commitmentto the charity. Without them we wouldn't be able to carry out our core purpose, to save lives at sea.
We rely on tens of thousands of dedicated volunteers, who contribute their time, energy andskills, without salary and of their own free will, to support the RNLI.
The RNLI welcomes and values every volunteer, from all walks of life. We aim to utilise the gift of an individuals time, knowledgeand skills to help achieve our purpose of saving lives at sea.
