Robotics, In Society What Changes Are Coming?

In the past years man has developed, new ways of progress, through the use of machines, but the question is how does this affect our way of living? Does it affect our evolution? Does this make us lazier, or it help us to improve? In some researches made by the sociologist Antonio Lopez Peláez (Covus, 2011), shows the concern about the way that robotics is evolving, his studies, take him to theconclusion that by the year 2020, the life as we know it today will change in a radical way. So what aspects of our current living is changing, does the world will become a place, in which us, depends on them or this science will stay, with his principal purpose, that is to become a tool for humanity. If that is the case; this may be reflected in some areas; in which robotics is need. By “need” Imean that if it is not used, some works will not be done, because they can´t be made by men.
For example in surgeries, some robots are need when really fussy process comes to light, in which the level of precision decides, if the surgery was excellent or a
Total failure. Some of this improvement in medicine helps doctors, because is easier for them to made difficult medical process, withoutworrying about the places he had to cut without given the patience other issue. Some people may think that machines are not the best option, in these cases. There still persons that don’t trust entirely, in machines, they doesn’t feel, comfortable knowing that is machine and not a human, is the one that is doing the surgery. But what they are forgetting about is that, humans still are need because, they are the ones that operate those machines.
Other way in which developed of robotics is helping people, is by giving them legs, arms, a hand or a foot (Prosthesis). As I say before robotics is a tool that helps us, so they thought that it can be helpful to assist person by given them a way to stand up. With lots of work they developed, the Bionics.
The Bionics is a science that has thefunction of replacing human limbs, with robotics limbs. In the world so many accidents take place, and so many people loses a arm or a leg, but they don’t lose its desire of living, and one of the most amazing case presented until know, is the one that of Amanda Kitts. She lose her arm in a car accident in 2006, she is helping scientist, to evolve the technology of “proto 1”. Proto 1 is a prosthesisthat has lots of improvements, such as the amounts of movements that the person does. The difference between this prosthesis and the other ones is that this one connects is connected to your neural system. But you may ask how a person controls it if he/she lost the neurological web of the limb he loses. Well the answer is that people that loses its limbs still has a “phantom limb”, this means thateven though the flesh and bone may be damaged or gone, the nerves and parts of the brain that once controlled it live on. This was known, but was probe with the help of Kitts.
This technology is based in the different types of communications. This helps them to get into the conclusions, that they can make a connection between the “phantom patient limb” and the biotic limb.
Away from medicine, robotics has other applications that make our lives easier and safeties. Such as manufacturing process. Robotics is developing a family of low cost and highly intelligent robots that can perform simple tasks in a manufacturing environment, increasing the productivity of the people around them who are doing the more highly skilled and value-added work. The implementation of industrial robots helps,to prevent accidents, in factories, and also they get the production line process to a new, level of efficiency. The substitution of human labor, with robots, may sound kind of cruel, but it actually is not, because, that’s the purpose of making all these. We construct these machine to engage in those process that may be, monotonous and dangerous for humans. Modern manufactories robots, can deal...
