Presidente Rafael Correa visitó área donde el papa Francisco dará misa en Guayaquil
Acompañado de algunos de sus ministros, el presidente Rafael Correarecorrió este martes el santuario del Señor de la Divina Misericordia, ubicado en el km 26 de la vía a la costa, donde se tiene previsto que el papa Francisco oficie la primeramisa campal el próximo mes de julio.
El campo, situado junto al santuario de la Divina Misericordia, es un área de 45 hectáreas, que al momento se encuentra en etapa de desbrocey limpieza para montar una estructura desde donde el papa Francisco oficie la misa campal.
Luego de un recorrido aéreo, Rafael Correa revisó las labores de adecentamiento delterreno, así como construcción de caminos, instalaciones eléctricas y otras obras para facilitar la presencia del pontífice que se dirigirá –según se prevé- a más de un millón defeligreses el 6 de julio durante su estadía en Guayaquil, según recoge el sitio web de Andes.
