Romeo and Juliet Essay
Romeo and Juliet is an extremely controversial novel/play that may impact readers as it develops into its climax. It is a tragedy due to the immense death count throughout it. Furthermore it is sort of obvious that the main characters will die. In this short; however, precise essay I will becontrasting and reflecting how Romeo and Juliet where riding into a suicidal road all along the play.
Personally I am not a big fan of Romeo and Juliet therefore it seems kind ofdepressing to see everybody die by the time the fifth act hits its climax. Although it is an important icon of literature history, thus we should appreciate the Shakespeareanlanguage it inflicts to us, the audience. It appears that Romeo and Juliet love each other even though they have only known each other for five minutes and they got married after twodays, which makes it needless to say that they were moving too fast. Even Friar Lawrence gives Romeo a clue with the line: “They stumble that run fast.” which basically means if youmove so fast in your relationship bad things will happen.
Coming to a conclusion, these two literature legends from the moment they got married where doomed to death, or at leastRomeo was. Probably if Romeo wouldn’t have killed Tybalt, he (Tybalt) would’ve probably killed him after knowing that Juliet, a Capulet (not even mentioning they were both childrenof the family leaders) had married a Montague. Through out this novel you can see the theme of the effects of an ancient grudge (apart from love vs. lust which is also important)due to the fact that because of the hate that the families’ young people have against each other, (which should not even concern them) two individuals can’t even have a relationship.
