These families had been strugglins for quite some time, and the Prince said hispublic fight next be put to death. When the fight was over, Romeo’s cousin Benvolio tried to cheer him of his melancholy. Romeo revealed he was in love with a woman named Rosaline, but she had chose tolive a life of chastity. Romeo and Benvolio were accidentally invited to the party of his enemy; Benvolio convinced Romeo to go.
At the party, Romeo locks eyes with a girl named Juliet. They fell inlove instantly, put did not realize that their families were mortal enemies. When they realized the other’s identities, which were devastated, but cannot help how they felt. Romeo sneaks intoJuliet’s yard after the party and proclaim his love for her. Shee come back their feeling and the two decided to marry. The next day, Romeo and Juliet were married by Friar Lawrence; an event witnessed bythe Nurse of Juliet’s and Romeo’s loyal servant, Balthasar. They had plan to meet in the chambers of Juliet’s that night.
Romeo visited his best friend Mercutio and his cousin Benvolio but his humoris reduced. Juliet’s cousin, Tybalt, began a war of words with Romeo, which soon become a duel with Mercutio. Romeo tried to stop the fight but it was too late: Tybalt killed Mercutio. Romeo,enraged, retaliated by killing Tybalt. Once Romeo realized the consequences of his actions, he hid in the cell of Friar Lawrence’s.
Friar Lawrence advises that Romeo had been banished from Verona...
