Table manners
Russians have always been very respectful to food because getting food requires a lot of work and effort. That is why playing with food, throwing it and especially being disrespectfulto bread is considered a sin.
If you are drinking tea, do not stir it loudly with your spoon.
It is also polite to propose a toast to the ladies present.
Customs (food, clothing, othertraditions)
Food
Kholodets: Jellied chopped pieces of pork or veal meat with some spices added and minor amounts of vegetables. 
Pirozhki are small stuffed buns (pies) made of either yeast dough or shortpastry.
Blini are thin pancakes made with yeasted batter which are often served in connection with a religious rite or festival. 
Clothing
Men’s: A shirt like long-sleeved garment that is mid-thighlong, known as a kosovorotka is the traditional Russian shirt.
Women’s: The traditional dress for women folk is called sarafan, it is a plain jumper-like long dress much like a pinafore; this dress isof single piece and has no sleeves.

Traditions
Easter is the main Christian holiday. It is the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ and symbolizes the passage from death to life and fromearth to heaven.
Máslenitsa is celebrated one week before the beginning of Lent, it is a festival that symbolizes the farewell winter.
Important places to visit
Russia is a wonderful place,located in a vast territory, there are lots of wonderful places as you can’t imagine, there are the most beautiful places you could have ever seen. If you love wonderful constructions and nature you mostvisit the following places:
- The Baikal Lake: Declared a World heritage Site by UNESCO, in 1996.It is the deepest lake in the world,
- Mother Motherland monument: Just a strange name to most of us,Mamayev Kurgan is a place of great significance for the Russian people.
