Population Growth in Mexico & Russia and Its Impact on Biodiversity

Introduction
Biodiversity stands for the various kinds of animals, genes & habitats the planet shelters. Despite the huge variation within this ranges, human population growth has managed to create a negative impact in biodiversity by reducing it considerably in all sorts of habitats. The more human population growsthe more threatened biodiversity sees itself, for every human being requires various needs at the expense of biodiversity.
The purpose of this investigation is to contrast how human population has grown and how it impacts on the planet between to highly populated countries which are Russia & Mexico.

Russia’s Characteristics
The demographics of Russia is about the demographic features ofthe population of the Russian Federation, including population growth, population density, ethnic composition, education level, health, economic status, and other aspects of the population.
The population of Russia was 143,100,000 as per the official estimate for April 1, 2012. The population hit a historic peak at 148,689,000 in 1991, just before the breakup of the Soviet Union, but then began adecade-long decline, falling at a rate of about 0.5% per year due to declining birth rates, rising death rates and emigration. However, the decline began to slow considerably in recent years, and in 2009 Russia recorded annual population growth for the first time in 15 years, with growth of 23,300.
In 2011, the population of Russia grew by 160,000 people, and reached a total of more than 143million.
In the first 3 months of 2012, the population increased by 31,000 people.
According to the 2010 census, ethnic Russians make up 81% of the total population, while six other ethnicities have a population exceeding 1 million – Tatars (3.9%), Ukrainians (1.4%), Bashkir (1.1%), Chuvash (1%), Chechens (1%) and Armenians (0.9%). In total, 160 different ethnic groups and indigenous peoples livewithin the Russian federation's borders.
Russia is the world's largest mineral and energy supply and is known as an "energy superpower", containing 22% of the world's oil, 16% of the world's coal, and 40% of the world's natural gas. Very well known for its tree's, Russia has 1/5 of the world's timber and wood. iron ore, nickel, coal, gold, diamonds, furs, petroleum, zinc, aluminum, tin, lead,platinum, titanium, copper, tungsten phosphates, and mercury are the most popular natural resources that Russia provides. Russia has many advantages, and a few disadvantages, for its very hard to mine up north rather than down south. Below are some short notes about the large amounts of natural resources in Russia:
* Has the world’s largest oil reserves
* Second largest coal reserves
*1/5 largest lead reserves
* Largest reserves of water in lakes
* Largest diamond deposits
* Second largest potassium reserves
* Enormous fish reserves
Russia's forest resources, also known as Taiga, are larger than America's mainland. Taiga contains 1/3 of the world’s timber, and is home to numerous animal resources.

The economy of Russia is the ninth largest economy in the worldby nominal value and the sixth largest by purchasing power parity . Russia has undergone significant changes since the collapse of the Soviet Union, moving from a centrally planned economy to a more market-based and globally integrated economy. Economic reforms in the 1990s privatized many sectors of the industry and agriculture, with notable exceptions in the energy and defense-related sectors.Nonetheless, the rapid privatization process, including a much criticized "loans-for-shares" scheme that turned over major state-owned firms to politically connected "oligarchs", has left equity ownership highly concentrated. As of 2011, Russia's capital, Moscow, now has the highest billionaire population of any city in the world.
In late 2008 and early 2009, Russia experienced the first...
